The Wild West and The Saguaro. The Saguaro is the largest cactus in America and can only be found in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona and Mexico. It is a defining symbol of the desert landscape. They are spectacular, growing upwards of 50 feet and living up to 200 years. photographing these beautiful plants is a bit challenging and probably I now have a little too many options to choose from. This is my very first image I captured, as with trees, I love the species demonstrating its strength in the wild alone and nothing near.
